Auto Towing 2Go tow truck towing an SUV with the front wheels lifted and rear wheels on the ground

Some vehicles simply shouldn't be towed with the wheels on the ground: all-wheel-drive, lowered cars, anything with limited ground clearance. Our flatbed keeps all four wheels off the road, while our wheel-lift trucks handle standard tows quickly and gently.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a flatbed for my all-wheel-drive car?

In most cases, yes. Towing an AWD vehicle on its wheels can damage the drivetrain. We'll always use a flatbed for AWD and 4x4 vehicles.

My car is lowered. Will it drag on a wheel-lift?

It can. For lowered or modified cars we default to flatbed towing to avoid scraping the front or rear bumper.

Can you transport a car that isn't driveable at all?

Yes, that's exactly what flatbed towing is for. The vehicle never has to move under its own power.
